The digital book scene is heating up here in our little corner of Israel. Mendele Book Seller has moved to fully digital distribution, and GETBOOKS have entered the arena in full force too. Together they are filling the gap in the digital space and marking a real breakthrough for the field.
The SifriApp platform and our cloud-based management system are the technological spearhead that makes this enormous shift possible. Even so, there is still a huge technology gap when it comes to converting books into standards-compliant EPUB3, producing proper Hebrew books, creating interactive books for children, and much more. That is exactly why we launched our technology blog.
On this blog we will gather tips, insights, articles, tutorials, and technical explanations connected to the process of creating a digital book and using the reading app. We will also share tools and utilities that improve the process of producing correct, standards-compliant digital books - in Hebrew, of course.
